SEO Forecasting Tool helps marketers turn uncertain organic-search outcomes into clearer planning scenarios for traffic, rankings, ROI, backlinks, content and local visibility.
Every week, SEO professionals are asked to justify budget, predict timelines, and prove value — before a single page is written. Most resort to vague estimates or "it depends."
We built SEO Forecasting Tool to change that. Each tool uses transparent formulas, user-provided inputs and publicly discussed SEO planning concepts. We document the assumptions and limitations so you can use the output as a planning scenario rather than a promise.
Each forecast is built around transparent SEO assumptions, public research and measurable inputs. Here's what powers the models and where their limitations matter.
Traffic projections use configurable or benchmark CTR assumptions by ranking position. Real CTR varies by query intent, device, brand strength and SERP features, so forecasts should be tested against your own Search Console data when possible.
Ranking-potential models compare public planning inputs such as relative site strength, keyword difficulty and competitive context. Third-party authority metrics are directional proxies and are not Google ranking scores.
ROI and revenue models combine projected traffic with conversion rate, customer value and SEO cost. Your own analytics and sales data should replace generic defaults whenever available.
Backlink forecasts model scenarios from current referring domains, expected acquisition pace and time. They do not predict how Google will value individual links, and quality matters more than raw link count.
Local visibility scenarios use measurable inputs related to relevance, prominence and competitive context. Distance is searcher-specific, so the tool does not claim to predict an exact Maps position.
SERP feature scoring is a prioritisation model based on query format, intent and observable SERP patterns. Search features can change, so users should verify the live results before acting on a score.
All forecasts are planning estimates based on the inputs and assumptions used in each model. Actual results depend on content quality, technical SEO health, SERP volatility, and your specific competitive landscape. Use these tools to inform decisions — not to replace judgment.
